About
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP register number: 379714). I hold a BA Hons (First Class) in counselling studies, a diploma in person centred therapy and am a qualified couples counsellor and supervisor.
I work in private practice from my therapy room in Newquay and for a charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life and with a range of presenting issues. Before training to become a counsellor I worked within the NHS acute psychiatric wards supporting young people and adults experiencing acute mental health problems. I understand the complexities and difficulties that life can bring and what a big step it can be to reach out and begin your therapy journey.
I offer face to face appointments from my room in Pentire, Newquay as well as online, telephone and walk and talk appointments.
A person centred, humanistic counsellor can provide you with a professional, safe and therapeutic space to explore what is happening in your life.
