Free Consultation

Finding the right therapist for you is an important part of your journey.  It is not easy to open up and put your trust in a stranger, but it is my belief that with the right therapist you can begin to experience the benefits that a therapeutic relationship can have on your life.

I offer a free 30 minute online or telephone consultation for us to discuss your needs and expectations of counselling and whether I may be the right therapist for you.

One-to One Therapy

As a humanistic, person-centred therapist I work to provide you with an environment where you may heal from past hurts, experience shifts in perspective and the opportunity to cultivate new thoughts and beliefs about yourself, your relationships and the world around you.  We experience these changes through growth in self-compassion, self-awareness and an ability to live in the present moment.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be complex and challenging and the shifting views on gender roles and sexuality, alongside growing expectations around relationships, can leave couples struggling to find balance and harmony. Couples therapy can help you both navigate these difficulties and facilitate you in exploring, understanding and progressing your relationship. Conflict in your relationship can indicate the potential for personal growth.

Whether you’re looking for greater understanding and fulfilment from your relationship, considering separating or struggling to know what is best for you both, couples therapy can provide support and help you find clarity for the path ahead.

Group Work & Workshop

As a group facilitator I offer a space where working in a group can bring about huge growth and change.  Receiving feedback and support through group work can be hugely beneficial for change.

Psycho-educational workshops are offered to provide education and help with common areas like stress, self-esteem, resilience building, anxiety and depression. Workshops are tailored to the client group with educational group work and activities.

I am a qualified Supervisor with a Level 6 Certificate in Counselling Supervision. My supervisory approach is person-centred and I work to support and empower the supervisee in developing and enhancing their client work. My work is underpinned by the Ethical Framework as outlined by the BACP.

Therapy Dog (In Training!)

My small dog Buddy often joins me in the therapy room and will generally greet you on arrival and then sleep for the session!  If you are at all uncomfortable with dogs please do let me know and I will ensure he is not present for our work together.
